USN Sailors Kate Wilson (R) of Buffalo, New York and Rachel Blomstrom of Houston Texas who are attached to the Fleet Anti-Submarine Warfare Training Center in Point Loma San Diego California wait to leave the center with Sharon Roberts (C) of San Diego for Thanksgiving Day Dinner at Roberts home on, Thursday November 22, 2007. Rebecca McLaughlin (second from L) of the Armed Services YMCA pairs sailors who would otherwise spend the holiday alone with local families as part of the Adopt-A-Sailor Program. Roberts was offering to take additional sailors home if needed and volunteer Gauraw Patel (L) found another two young sailors who had not been paired up with anyone yet. The San Diego Armed Services YMCA has organized the program for San Diego based sailors every year for the past 65 years . Blomstrom had injured her foot at a music concert the previous Sunday.
