Tuesday, May 12, 2009. Mission Beach, San Diego, CA, USA. Kevin Faulconer speaks to the media at the corner of Bayside Walk and Santa Clara place as members of the MB town council look on. District 2 councilmember Kevin Faulconer announced today that he plans to use $80K of discretionary funds to continue a long-standing program of supplemental trash pick-ups from residents in Mission Beach during the summer months. The program will be replaced by a curbside recycling progra m in 2010.
