A newspaper rack near the Pacific Beach Post Office in San Diego city contains material that many residents feel is inappropriate for their community, Friday November 16 2007. A new city-wide ordinance passed by the San Diego City Council will provide more stringent rules for the maintenance and content of the racks found in many parts of the city. Complaints about the adult-rated content of the materials found inside and the general condition of many of the racks that were not properly maintained by their owners lead to the creation of the new ordinance.
