Police Chief William Landsdowne listens as Mayor Jerry Sanders addresss the media at the scence where a military jet crashed into a residential home killing at least 2 civilians. At approximately 11:59am a USMC F-18 fighter jet encountered trouble over this residential area of the city and the pilot ejected leaving his aircraft to crash into a residential neighborhood.
