District 2 Councilmember Kevin Faulconer attend the opening of the New American Museum at the NTC Promenade in Liberty Station Friday, June 20, 2008 where he presented Executive Director Gayle Hom and Founder Deborah Szekely with a plaque from the City council.   The museum will feature exhibits, lectures and conferences related to immigration issues.  It will also house a recording studio where families can document their own immigrant history.
