02/28/2009: Tourmaline Surf Park, San Diego California, USA: Kai Nohana sounds a long, single blast of a conch shell as the ashes of his friend David Hargrove are scattered over the water in the center of a large circle of surfers just offshore from Tourmaline Surf Park. Hargrove who was a regular surfer at Tourmaline died suddenly at the age of 58.
