Finn, USN (Ret) the oldest living recipient of the United States Military?s highest award, the Medal of Honor and the last surviving recipient from Pearl Harbor attends Memorial Day ceremonies at the Mount Soledad Veterans Memorial in La Jolla, CA, USA on Monday May 26, 2008. Finn who will be 99 years old this July manned a 50-caliber machine gun during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. He is credited with downing at least one enemy aircraft during the attack and held his position despite being hit by shrapnel many times during the ordeal. He was presented with the Medal of Honor on board the USS Enterprise by Adm. Chester Nimitz.
