Yann Quilfen (yellow, right)makes a bottom turn as Mike Gillard gets ready to paddle into the next wave during the Semi-Final of the Stand-Up Paddle competition at the Pacific Beach Surf Club's Tenth Annual Longboard Classic at Tourmaline Surfing Park. Both advanced to the final and Quilfen won the SUP competition. It was the first year that SUP has been included in the Long Board Classic. The event was well attended despite gray, June gloom clouds and fickle, windy surf conditions.
