Butler and Brett Dennen were both supposed to perform after a beach clean-up sponsored by the San Diego CoastKeeper and the local chapter of the Surfrider Foundation. Heavy rain forced the organizers to cancel the clean-up but Butler and Dennen agreed to play at Newbreak Cafe, a small coffee shop near the beach where the clean-up was supposed to have been held.
