Monday, June 21, 2010: Diver Jay Schwartz of the San Diego Oceans Foundation enters the wreck of the HMCS Yukon to inspect and clean commerative plagues placed inside before it sank off Mission Beach almost ten years ago. The wreck which was prepared and sunk for recreational divers to enjoy will have been underwater for ten years in July of this year.
