City Park & Recreation Manager Michael Ruiz works with Cuauhtemoc Salis to add ?No Alcohol? labels to beach entrances in Pacific beach after a petition drive failed to gather enough valid signatures to overturn the beach alcohol ban, Tuesday January 15 2008. While the ordinance is in effect immediately, Ruiz said that San Diego Police will most likely just warn offenders during the next thirty days after which they will start issuing citations.
